Gift Guide // For The Kiddos

This holiday season, we are going to do a smaller amount of gifts for our kids and focus on quality over quantity. I’m hoping to avoid Amazon entirely if I can and we’re attempting to follow the “something you want, something you need, something to wear, something to read” guide.

Something they want: we’ll let them pick a couple of their most desired items and will try to find an option we can purchase at an independent retailer. We love Pigment and Geppettos Toys in San Diego and Twirl when we are in Taos for Thanksgiving.

Something they need: I’m hoping to have my husband make a desk for our son and a bookshelf for our daughter this year. We’ll see if he can pull it off!

Something to wear: I’ve included a round up of some cute things I have my eye on for them below!

Something to read: I recently joined The Conscious Kid’s Patreon and they have a ton of great book recommendations so I’ll look for a couple of options from there. I also love the book recommendations from Brightly because you can sort by age/stage.

On my personal list for decor is that driftwood Christmas tree in the main photo! Snag one before she sells out!

1. Mustard Beach Towel for picnics and beach adventures (all year long in San Diego) /2. Surf Eat Nap Button Up Shirt for Christmas photos! / 3. Ruffle Stripe Swimsuit for Christmas Vacation / 4. Peace Out Leggings / 5. Scalloped Biodegradable Booties / 6. Hand-Embroidered Pink Rainbow Shirt
