Well better late than never, right? I'm going to borrow Haydee's weekend rewind because I hit some of my favorite local spots this past weekend that I thought you should know about! Also, I really miss the weekend so this is also kind of a love letter to my weekend.
1. After some thrifting down in Chula Vista, my mom and I hit up Walter Andersen nursery in Point Loma, grabbed some succulents and my dad and I went to town on the front yard of Casa Wheeler! Hooray... less dumpy! I need to start highlighting my thrifty finds too. I'll make that happen. Anyway, Walter Anderson is amazing and the people there are insanely nice.
2. This is out of order but it's the way the pictures fit together. I almost passed out in Ikea (see #4) so I had to run down to Kensington to save my life with an amazing sammy from Clem's Bottle House -- the best deli in San Diego!
3. Whenever I'm at Clem's, waiting for a sammy, I spend my time looking at their adorable cards. This time I actually remembered to make a note of the maker of their cards. Found Image is actually a San Diego-based company who makes cards, calendars, prints, etc. from vintage prints! Super cute... I should probably go into more depth on them later! Noted.
4. Ikea had a present for me in the as-is section! This rug has been featured in the as-is section for the past couple of months but wasn't really marked down that much. This past Sunday, Ikea hooked it up and let me have it for $79 -- half off. Muchas gracias, Ikea!
