Time Warp // Venice Beach in the 70s

I spent a few hours the other evening digging through the massive and radical archives at Venice Pix and basically died a million times due to overdoses of amazingness.  There are some absolute gems in there, all capturing the vibe of Venice Beach in the 70s perfectly (because apparently I know.)  I'm going to break this up into a few different posts over the next couple of weeks.  Let us begin with a little bit of this:

Please, someone find me a time machine.

The style hasn't really changed...too bad the beach has. I LOVE this post. And yes, you were born in the wrong era.

If you find that time machine, let me know because I'm coming with you. I visited for the first time a year ago and was fascinated by all they had going on there. I don't know if it's hard to see the style of the decade we're in because we're in it, but I feel like the 70s and 80s had such a clearer vibe and style.

good point, brandi. i feel like i thought that about the 90s and that era definitely ended up having a defined style. right now i feel like we just rip off every other era... but you never know what it will be like to look back on the 00s!
