Homemade // Ace Acai Bowl Recipe

I've been working all summer on perfecting my acai bowl recipe.  Today I aced it.  How fitting since this is the first day it officially doesn't feel like summer anymore.  Oh the irony.  Regardless of the weather, this tastes so good, I'll eat it all year long!

If you can't find frozen dark cherries, you can use Trader Joe's frozen cherry + berry mix.  I like to take it pretty easy on the granola since that's what cranks up the calories... 1 to 2 tablespoons is bueno and adds just enough crunch!  Let me know if you try and like!

P.S. The VERY BEST acai bowl in San Diego can be found at Liv Juice Bar in Hillcrest.  It's unreal.

Very interesting. I'm going to try this. I was in Whole Foods this past weekend, looking at dried acai berries and I realized I had no idea how to use acai berries. This little recipe of yours will be gracing my table this weekend.
