For Your Listening Enjoyment: Paul Simon x Sesame Street

Raise your hand if you grew up watching Sesame Street!  Looking back on my childhood I realize how lucky I was to have only had 3 TV stations (accessible only by a click dial on the TV -- no remote!)  I also realize how lucky I was to have had music as such an influence on my life from early on.  Whether it was my mom singing Aretha songs through the house, my pops rocking out to Billy Bragg or James Taylor singing to me about Jelly Man Kelly on Sesame Street, my life seemed filled to the brim with music.  For that I am so thankful as nowadays when I have to go to work to get my butt kicked on a Friday, I can at least look forward to putting on my headphones and relying on them to get me through the day.  How much do you love this duet between Paul Simon and an adorable girl who is totally feeling the beat of Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard?

Who are some of your favorite Sesame Street guest stars from days past?  Not Katy Perry... people who really influenced your life!
